2006 “The Boxer” Shiraz from Mollydooker Wines

This is powerful. The fruit is sourced from exceptional vineyards in McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. Anyone who has searched for this $20 bottle knows it isn’t easy to find. But you can still order it and take advantage of 12 cent shipping if you buy by the case. Or, find a friend who has a bottle and beg for a taste. If you’ve never paired red wine with dark chocolate, The Boxer is an ideal candidate; or drink it solo, because it will dominate any main course (except chili).
